Religious education
Religious education begins together with the new school year and aims to encourage and support children and young people in their everyday lives. The catechist helps students to develop expressions of faith through images, song and celebrations. All are welcome and are helped to feel comfortable in the community.
Lessons are held in Gstaad, Zweisimmen and Lenk. First Communion is generally celebrated in the 3rd or 4th year of primary school, with the Sacrament of Reconciliation following one year later. The young people prepare for Confirmation towards the end of compulsory schooling.
